Runners take part in the Pipestem Creek Trail Run on Saturday, when the weather was warm and sunny for the 9 a.m. start for the 3 mile and 8 mile races by age group competition and local school teams had an unnoficial run as practice. The run is sponsored by Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department, and the Pipestem Trail will host a Gear Grinder trail bike race on Saturday morning as well.
