Members of the North Dakota Patriot Guard along with Gold Star parents and supporters depart Jamestown Civic Center on Saturday for the third annual Fallen Heroes Reunion and Honor Ride. The ride followed a ceremony to honor Gold Star families and to remember local men and women who died while serving their country in the armed forces or as a first responder.

Riders in the sport division start out for the Northridge Trail head at the Pipestem Dam on Sunday as part of the Gear Grinder Mountain Bike Race sponsored by Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department. The sport race totaled 21 miles and the expert race went 29 miles. Tom LaVenture / The Sun
