Miller Dental coming to Jamestown
Miller Dental, a family dentistry practice in Harvey, N.D., is expanding to Jamestown.
Clinton Miller, Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, has purchased the former Anderson Dental practice at 302 2nd Ave. SW, according to Carah Hestdalen, reception and marketing specialist for Miller Dental. The new Miller Dental practice will open on Sept. 1, she said.
“I think Dr. Miller saw there was a need in Jamestown for another dentist,” Hestdalen said.
The opportunity to expand in Jamestown came when Edward Anderson, DDS, announced that he was retiring and closing his practice, she said. Miller then decided to purchase the building with all of the dental and office equipment, she said.
Miller and a staff of six provide endodontic root canal therapy, tooth bonding, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, implants, porcelain veneers, preventive dentistry, sedation, teeth whitening and tooth-colored fillings, according to the website. The new location will add receptionists, hygienists and a dental associate to provide these services in Jamestown, Hestdalen said.
“He also does some specialties that are not readily available,” said Hestdalen, who is also studying to be a dental assistant.
Miller is originally from Provo, Utah, and purchased the Meharry dental practice in Harvey in 2015, she said.
