Special events

Annual fundraiser breakfast, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., Masonic Lodge at Masonic Park north of Jamestown on N.D. Highway 20. The breakfast is sponsored by the Masonic Lodge. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee will be served. Tickets: $7 for children age 12 through adults, $4 for children ages 5-11 and free for children under 5.

Whoever Can Come band jam session, 1 to 4 p.m., Barnes County Museum, 315 Central Ave. N., Valley City. No charge for players, listeners.

University of Jamestown student Heather Fair-Erbele’ senior recital, 3 p.m., Voorhees Chapel. Admission: free.

Sunday, May 4

LaMoure County Suicide Prevention Walk for Awareness, 1 p.m., Kulm Community Center in Kulm, N.D. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and a short program is at 2 p.m. Free lunch will be provided. Donations accepted.
