The Calendar publishes public events, meetings and fundraisers in The Jamestown Sun free. Friday, March 17

Celebrate Recovery meeting, First Baptist Church, 409 3rd Ave. SE. Light supper, 6 p.m., meeting, praise and worship, 6:30 p.m. and small groups, 7:20 p.m.

“The Great Outdoors,” the James River Figure Skating Club’s annual ice show, 7 p.m., Wilson Arena. Tickets: students, $6 advance, $8 at the door; adults, $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Gifts From the Heart and Neighborhood Grocery.
