Senior Menu, Activities May 8-12

James River Senior Center serves a hot meal at Center I, Gardenette and James House, and Streeter Senior Center in Streeter.

Center I serves meals at noon Monday through Friday. The other Jamestown sites serve at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Streeter.

Meal cost: suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and older; $6.75 for those under 60. Reserve at least one day in advance by calling 252-2882.

Frozen meals are also available, for people over 60 in Stutsman County. Call 252-2882.


Monday: turkey noodle casserole, french green beans, layered lettuce salad, cranberry gelatin

Tuesday: roast beef, whipped potato with gravy, peas and carrots, dark sweet cherries

Wednesday: baked fish, hash brown bake, fresh green beans, chilled apricot halves

Thursday: chicken supreme, parslied potato, stewed tomato, chilled pineapple slices

Friday: meatballs in brown gravy, whipped potato with margarine, broccoli cuts, ambrosia cup *100 percent whole wheat bread, margarine, milk and coffee are served with meals
