Classic Car Club to meet today

Jamestown Classic Car Club will hold a potluck supper beginning at 6 p.m. today for the June monthly meeting. The group will meet at the Specht residence in Spiritwood for supper and a short meeting. The meeting will start about 7 p.m. after the meal. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass. Drinks, plates and silverware will be provided.

The club will make last-minute arrangements for the car show. The Buffalo Rally will start with preregistration with a potluck meal from 5 to 7:30 p.m. July 4 at McElroy Park. The Jamestown Fire Department is having its pancake breakfast at the fire station starting at 6 a.m. July 5. Then car club members will line up for the parade down at McElroy Park. The parade will travel north on Main Street this year from the park, starting at 9:30 a.m. The car show registration will be at McElroy Park again the morning of July 5, with the car show going from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A presentation of the awards will be about 3:30 p.m.

Members are encouraged to plan on attending as many events as possible during that week. The Stutsman County Fair is July 2-5 and various White Cloud Birthday celebration  events are set Satudray.
