Century defeats Jamestown for Class A volleyball crown

Sons of Norway met at Ave Maria Village. The guest was Oddveig Gjerde from Fargo. Gjerde provided a taste of Scandinavian food that was served at holidays, which included head cheese made of pork and lamb and beef liver sausage served with bread.

The Troll Dancers will begin their fall nursing home performances, which began at Rock of Ages at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9. At 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, the group performs at Eventide Jamestown and again at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Ave Maria Village. Dancers perform in the surrounding area at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at Manor of St. Joseph in Edgeley and at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.
