OK Club to meet Nov. 21
The OK Club met at the Legacy Center Nov. 7 with nine members and one visitor present. Vice President Elaine Heinrich opened the meeting and led the Pledge of Allegiance for President Marlys Boughton, who is preparing to move to the Heritage Centre.
Janet Van Bruggen read a story, “A Plan for your Life.” The secretary and treasurer’s reports were approved as read. Van Bruggen won the drawing for the meal ticket door prize.
Bingo was played with Jim Hatlewick winning the small frame. DeLette Winkelman won the large frame and the blackout game. In whist, DeBuck and Lorraine Gall won the high prize; Sharon Hatlewick and Winkelman tied for low. Gall also took a trick with a deuce. In pinochle, MaryLee O’Meara won high and Van Bruggen won low. Hatlewick furnished the dessert for the afternoon coffee hour. The next meeting of the OK Club will be at noon on Nov. 21 at the Legacy Center in Jamestown. Guests are welcome.
