OK Club members hear stories
The OK Club met at the Legacy Center on May 15 with seven members present. Elaine Heinrich called the meeting to order. After the Pledge of Allegiance Janet Van Bruggen read “Lord Keep Me Sweet” and about two fools. Harriet Kartes told the folly of getting old. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. Heinrich won the door prize drawing.
Bingo was played with Lorraine Gall winning the small frame. MaryLee O’Meara won the large frame and the blackout game. In whist, Kartes won high, Gerald Van Bruggen won low, and Marlys Boughton took a trick with a deuce. In pinochle, Heinrich won high, and Janet Van Bruggen won low. The club furnished lunch for the afternoon coffee hour.
The next meeting will be June 5 at the Legacy Center in Jamestown. Guests are welcome.
