Kiwanis still collecting school supplies

 

Thirty members and guests attended the July 30 meeting of Jamestown Kiwanis.

Don and Sharon Caine led music. Don Bentz collected “Happy Dollars.”

Kiwanis and Aktion Club continue to collect school supplies for Community Action. Aktion Club will organize them at its regular meeting at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 9. The public is welcome to help. Kiwanis’ Aktion Club is for adults with developmental disabilities. New members are always welcome.

Dairy Queen’s Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser is set for Aug. 2. Last year, Dairy Queen sold 1,200 blizzards as part of Miracle Treat Day. Children’s Miracle Network helps feed and house families whose children have medical needs.

Kiwanis completed another blood drive in July. More details will follow.
