2-year-old in ‘good condition’ after fall from third floor

GRAND FORKS — A 2-year-old boy who fell out of a third-story window at a University of North Dakota apartment complex Tuesday was in “good condition” at Altru Hospital, according to University Police.

The toddler suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he fell, Chief Eric Plummer said in an email.

The incident remains under investigation and Social Services have been notified, but Plummer said no foul play is suspected.

The apartment building’s third-story windows are above grass.
