The Jamestown Blue Jays sixth-grade girls traveling basketball team placed first at the Jamestown Spring Shootout on Saturday. The Blue Jays defeated the West Fargo Wolves, Fort Totten War Party and the West Fargo Shooters in the championship game.

The Jamestown Blue Jays sixth-grade girls traveling basketball team placed first at the Jamestown Spring Shootout on Saturday. The Blue Jays defeated the West Fargo Wolves, Fort Totten War Party and the West Fargo Shooters in the championship game. The Blue Jays finished the season with a record of 22-8, also placing first at tournaments in Aberdeen and Mandan, and finishing second at two tournaments in Bismarck and one in Valley City.
