The Jamestown Blue Jays seventh-grade traveling boys basketball team placed second at the North Dakota Pacesetter State tournament on Saturday in Bismarck. The N.D. state champion and runner-up automatically qualify for the 8-team Pacesetter Great Four State Basketball Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis this summer along with teams from Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa.

The Jamestown Blue Jays seventh-grade traveling boys basketball team placed second at the North Dakota Pacesetter State tournament on Saturday in Bismarck.  The N.D. state champion and runner-up automatically qualify for the 8-team Pacesetter Great Four State Basketball Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis this summer along with teams from Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa. The Blue Jays beat the Bismarck Blazers 38-25, the West Fargo Mustangs 39-22 and lost in the championship to the Bismarck Capital City Crushers 41-18.
