Legacy Financial Partners, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Inc., employees and clients recently joined forces to help ensure Jamestown area families have nutritious meals to share this holiday season. The Ameriprise Financial office hosted a food drive for Community Action earlier this month in an effort to help the one in six Americans, including 16 million children, who struggle with hunger.

The event was part of an annual national day of service organized by Ameriprise in partnership with Feeding America, the nation’s leading anti-hunger organization. More than 9,000 Ameriprise financial advisers, employees and clients from across all 50 states spent the day helping more than 375 hunger-relief organizations prepare for increased demand for services around the holiday season.

“We are proud to play a role in supporting this worthwhile cause and thank our clients and other community members for their generous support,” said Thomas Boerger, financial adviser.
