Basin Electric annual meeting slated in Bismarck
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Basin Electric Power Cooperative says it's expecting hundreds of people from a nine-state region to attend the co-op's annual meeting in Bismarck.
The Bismarck-based co-op supplies electricity to the Dakotas and other Midwestern and Western states. The co-op's meeting is slated for Nov. 5-7 at the Bismarck Civic Center.
Basin operates power plants in North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. The power is sold to co-op members in the Dakotas, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
