Big blast: Weiser homer helps Post 14 to home split

Landon Weiser’s second career home run at Jack Brown Stadium was certainly timely.

With his team trailing 2-1 in the fifth inning, the Jamestown Post 14 lefty broke up Erik Engel’s no-hit bid with a bomb to right field. The shot sparked Post 14 to a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Fargo Post 400 and a split in the conference doubleheader. Post 400 won the first game 5-3.
