Business applies for grant from APUC
A Lehr, N.D., business has applied for a $26,250 grant from the North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission. Buchholz Machine Shop is requesting the money to convert a milk barn to a machine shop and purchase equipment for the shop.
If granted, the funds would allow the company to produce and promote its own products which include an ice auger extension.
APUC received grant requests totaling $305,000 from 11 projects around North Dakota. The commission will consider the requests during its quarterly meeting on July 22, at the Rough Riders Hotel and Conference Facility in Medora, N.D.
