Carrington receives votes in state poll

The Carrington girls basketball team received votes in the latest Class B state media polls, falling out after a loss to ranked Lakota-Edmore in the semifinals of the Ramsey County tournament.

Maple Valley and Linton-HMB also received votes.

Minot Ryan again received all 14 first-place votes, followed by Thompson and Beach, respectively.

Milnor received all 14 first-place votes in the boys poll. Rugby and Cavalier rounded out the top three, respectively.

Four Winds-Minnewaukan was ranked fourth. Strasburg-Zeeland received votes.
