South Border’s Madison Schnabel scored a game-high 20 points, but it wasn’t enough in Wishek on Thursday night.

 LaMoure-L-M’s Jacey Alber scored 14 points, while Anna Holen added 12 more, as the Loboes sneaked out of Wishek with a 49-43 victory over the Mustangs.

The Cardinals upped their season mark to 14-4 with a victory over Griggs County Central in Carrington.

Jacey Engelhorn scored 18 points, Kayla Hochhalter tossed in 15 and Maara Nelson produced 13 for the winners. Carrington stormed out to a 28-14 lead after the first period.

The Cardinals limited the visiting Cadets to one point in the first period, and just 19 through three, as the home team rolled in Ellendale.

Madilyn Bommersbach and Isabel Wedell each dropped in 12 points to lead the Cardinals. Sargent Central’s Hannah Schlecht led the Cadets in scoring with 11.

The Rebels’ Olivia Anderson poured in 18 points, helping Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier upend the Strasburg-Zeeland Clippers in Kulm.
