The Rocket’s Lexie Weber scored 24 points, going 14-of-18 at the free-throw line, helping NR-S top the Raiders 66-59. The game was pretty much decided at the charity stripe, as the Rockets sank 25-of-33 freebies as a team.

The Raiders’ Shaye Ronningen splashed in a pair of treys and a game-high 27 points, but it wasn’t enough. The Rockets held the lead at the end of each quarter.

NR-S moves on to face Carrington in tonight’s title game at 7 p.m.

Carrington dispatched Harvey-Wells County 60-35 in the second semifinal game, limiting the Hornets to just 12 first-half points. Maara Nelson led the way with 22 points, while Kayla Hochhalter drained three 3-pointers and scored 15.

The Hornets were led by Kara Fike with 10 points.

Midkota-Kensal received 23 points from Brooke Ronningen and 20 more from Saddie Harding, as the Mustangs defeated Warwick 58-48 in loser-out play.

Ronningen buried four treys in the game, while Harding connected an additional three times from long range. Ava Robertson tried to keep the Warriors in it, hitting six 3-pointers and scoring 19 points.

Lakota-Edmore will face Midkota-Kensal today at 4 p.m. in the first of two Region 4 qualifiers. Harvey-Wells County will meet up with Four Winds-Minnewaukan at 5:30 in the second game.
