Clippers top Wolves

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-104 Monday night in Minneapolis.

Darren Collison led the Clippers (53-22) with 28 points and seven assists.

Kevin Love paced the Timberwolves (36-37) with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

The Timberwolves played the game with starting Nikola Pekovic, who missed the game with ankle soreness. Pekovic missed 17 games with the same injury earlier in the season. The Clippers were without All-Star forward Blake Griffin because of a back injury. Griffin is averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds. The Timberwolves are back in action on Wednesday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
