CNS training class scheduled to start

The CNA Skills Training Class is planned at the James Valley Career and Technology Center.

This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a certified nurse’s assistant. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.

The next class begins on Feb. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. and runs Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Feb. 25 and 27) that week March 3, 4 and 6 the second week with testing on March 11. The cost of the class is $100.
