Coats for Kids seeks coats in Jamestown
Ave Maria Village along with the Salvation Army and One-Hour Martinizing are continuing collection for Coats for Kids.
Deacon Tom Geffre along with Lt. Mitch Brecto at the Salvation Army are coordinating the program. Brecto said that the SA has a great need for winter clothing and is glad that something was being done in this area to collect the needed coats, gloves, winter caps, boots and snow suits of all sizes.
The local campaign will run from today until Aug. 16.
It is requested that any donated winter items mentioned above be clean and in good working order. Items can be dropped off at Ave Maria Village, the Salvation Army and One-Hour Martinizing during business hours.
