Crash results in $10,000 damage

More than $10,000 in damage happened in a two-vehicle accident Thursday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The collision happened at 2:19 p.m. at the intersection of Second Avenue and Seventh Street Northeast.

Jessica Miller, 16, Jamestown, was driving a 2002 Pontiac car south on Second Avenue approaching the intersection with Seventh Avenue.

Timothy Fletcher, 40, Jamestown, was driving a 2012 Ford west on Seventh Avenue approaching the same intersection. Both vehicles entered the intersection, and Miller struck the vehicle that Fletcher was driving.

Miller and Fletcher wore seat belts and neither was injured.

Damage was estimated at $5,000 for the Pontiac and $5,000 for the Ford.

No citations were issued.
