Dalrymple wants disaster declaration
BISMARCK (AP) -- Gov. Jack Dalrymple says he'll ask for a major disaster declaration from the White House to help cover damage from an early October blizzard.
He earlier proclaimed a winter storm emergency declaration that allows state agencies to work with local governments throughout the recovery process.
The storm caused extensive damages to the state's rural electric cooperatives' infrastructure and to roads.
