Damage reported in crash

A two-vehicle accident at 9:55 p.m. resulted in $8,000 in damage but no injuries according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Christopher Hoke, 39, Jamestown, was driving a 2001 Ford pickup south on 12th Avenue Northeast.

Courtney Humes, 21, Jamestown, was driving a 2013 Mitsubishi passenger car west on 4th Street Northeast.

According to the police report, Hoke slid on snow through a stop sign striking the vehicle Humes was driving on the passenger side. Both vehicles attempted to swerve out of each other’s way.

Damage was estimated at $5,000 for the Ford and $3,000 for the Mitsubishi.

Hoke was cited for care required and Humes was cited for no insurance.
