DOT uses plow to sweep, clear seeds on I-29
FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- The North Dakota Department of Transportation is using a plow to clear an Interstate 29 ramp, but it's not snow that is being removed.
The plow is clearing the road after a semitrailer carrying bags of sunflower seeds spilled its load.
Traffic along the on-ramp from westbound 12th Avenue North to southbound Interstate 29 was slowed Tuesday afternoon as the plow removed the seeds.
The Forum reports that the driver of the semitrailer was cited for having a loose or leaking load.
