The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week:

* Bravo to Anya Lynne Wieck, of Jamestown, for holding the distinction of being the first baby of 2014 born at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Laura and Justin Wieck are her parents.

* Bravo to the North Dakota State University Bison for winning its third consecutive Division I FCS national championship with a 35-7 win over Towson University in Frisco, Texas.

* Bravo to BNSF for acting promptly and taking reimbursement claims from Casselton, N.D., residents who were displaced or affected by the fiery train crash on Dec. 30. Residents received reimbursements that ranged from hotel bills to travel expenses to lost income.

* Bravo to Eathan Gumke for winning the 195-pound championship at the prestigious Bismarck Rotary. Gumke is ranked No. 1 in Class A at 195.
