Elks Lodge installs officers

Elks Lodge 995 recently installed officers for 2014 – 2015. They are Exalted Ruler Craig Gaier, Leading Knight Marle Weatherly, Lecturing Knight Steve Jaskoviak, Esquire Dr. Bradly Skari, Chaplain Rhonda Newton, Inner Guard Bill Lipetzky, Secretary Tammy Kastet, Trustee Tex Weatherly, Tiler Frank DeBolt and Treasurer Harold Bensch. DeBolt presented his daughter, Newton, with the jewel of her chaplain position.

Gaier spoke about the Elks National Foundation Beacon grant. He will apply to the Grand Lodge possibly benefiting the Elks organization. Gaier will be holding the ENF Chairman position. Dan Mimnaugh, director of Camp Grassick, also spoke, saying “thank you” to Elk members and Elkettes for the work they did to make the 36th annual Runnin O’ the Green a success. That event started by Larry Knoblick raised approximately $22,000.

Kelly Heyer, Elks 995 newest past exalted ruler, gave the highest honor in Elks Lodge 995, the Elk of the Year, to Mark Lee for his total commitment and dedication to the lodge he is also the scholarship chairman. Heyer also acknowledged the officers he’s had the opportunity to serve with for 2013-2014 year and wished the current officers well.
