Elshaug awarded scholarship
The Ronald D. Liudahl Endowment for Undergraduate Students in Wildlife Management and Fisheries Biology 2014 scholarship for $900 was awarded to Tyler Elshaug, Devils Lake, N.D. Elshaug is an avid hunter and fisherman and an advocate for the preservation and conservation of habitat for wildlife and fisheries.
Elshaug graduated in May from Dakota College in Bottineau, N.D., with an associate degree in wildlife and fisheries management. He will continue his education by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
The scholarship was established in memory of Ron Liudahl by the Liudahl family and the Dakota Anglers. The scholarship was set up to provide some financial aid to undergraduate students entering into the fields of wildlife management and/or fisheries biology. This scholarship is awarded annually; the deadline for applying for this scholarship is April 1.
