Fargo mayor leaning toward re-election bid
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The mayor of North Dakota's largest city says he's leaning toward seeking a third four-year term.
Fargo Mayor Dennis Walaker tells KFGO radio that he's "seriously considering" a re-election bid next year. If he does win a third term, it will be his last because of city term limits.
Walaker says he'll make a formal announcement of his intentions by the end of this year.
Two city commissioners — Brad Wimmer and Tim Mahoney — also have said they might run.
