Off to a fast start: Bats come alive as Post 14 rolls to big victory

Jamestown had been waiting for this game for most of the summer.

The offense exploded with 16 hits and Joey Gebhardt went seven strong innings as 10th-seeded Post 14 knocked off No. 7 Mandan 10-2 late Tuesday night at Jack Brown Stadium.

“We knew it was going to happen from the first pitch,” Jamestown’s Ben Walz said.
