Flooding affects rail service in eastern N.D.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- BNSF Railway has suspended service in three eastern North Dakota cities because of flooding.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that a floodwall is blocking the tracks in Grand Forks. A clay dike blocks tracks in Harwood. Service in Mayville is cut off at a bridge.
Spokeswoman Amy McBeth says crews also are busy inspecting tracks for damage, removing ice jams and raising some tracks.
