Girl Scouts holding spaghetti supper
Jamestown Girl Scouts are serving a spaghetti supper and silent auction fundraiser from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 1000 5th Ave. NE. Spaghetti, bagels, salad and dessert will be served. Tickets are $6 for single and $20 for families with under 4 eating free.
Tickets may be pre-purchased from a participating Girl Scout or at the door the day of the event.
There will be ongoing silent auctions with many items to bid on. One set of auction items will close at 6 p.m., while the second auction will close at 7 p.m. to allow everyone a chance to bid on that perfect prize.
The mission of Girl Scouting is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who can make the world a better place. GSUSA is the largest female-based organization in the world that supports girl-driven, leadership-based programs to help the girls of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
