Grand Forks House candidate withdraws from race
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- A Republican state House candidate from Grand Forks is withdrawing from the race.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that Josh Schreiner is bowing out because of personal medical issues.
The 22-year-old University of North Dakota student won the GOP primary in June.
Schreiner said in a statement that he hopes for privacy "in this trying time" for him and his family.
