Dickinson State rode Regan Lawrence to the NSAA/Frontier Conference tournament title.

Lawrence won her third game of the tournament and singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh as the Blue Hawks edged the University of Great Falls 2-1 at McElroy Park.

The Blue Hawks have won 22 straight games and outscored their four opponents 20-3 in the tournament.

The Argos led 1-0 after Kirstie Thomas connected for a solo home run in the top of the sixth off Lawrence, but Dickinson State (39-13) tied it on Rebecca Lopez’s run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth and won it when Lawrence plated Brianna Grayson with the game-winner in the seventh.

Lawrence was named tournament MVP as the Blue Hawks advanced to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.

The Argos finished the season at 17-17.
