Houston suburb votes down $69M HS stadium
KATY, Texas — It was a bad night for stadium financing in the Houston area, with one suburban district voting down a bond issue that would have built a deluxe high school football stadium.
Voters in the Katy school district on Tuesday voted down a bond package that would have provided $69.5 million for a new, 14,000-seat football stadium.
