Hundreds of skaters turn out for marathon in ND

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- More than 250 skaters took part in the second annual Rollin' on the Red Inline Marathon in Grand Forks.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that 266 people registered for 26.2-mile race. Participants completed two loops around the city.

Organizers said most of the skaters came from Minnesota, North Dakota and Manitoba.

Olga and Hernan Diaz traveled from Kansas so Hernan could compete in the race. Olga said they often travel to various cities around the country to compete.
