I-94 opens; some travel advisories change
Interstate 94 and Interstate 29 are now open, though much of the Jamestown and Valley City areas remains under a travel alert.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol still list Jamestown, Valley City, Edgeley, Ashley, Ellendale and surrounding areas under a travel alert due to blowing snow, which has caused areas of reduced visibility and snow-covered roads.
A travel alert means conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas but should be advised of rapidly-changing conditions. They are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to conditions.
