One man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.

The accident happened at 9:40 p.m. on Interstate 94 near Cleveland, N.D.

Matthew Lewandoski, 32, Arden Hills, Minn., was driving a 2003 Ford westbound on 1-94 near mile marker 238 when the vehicle hit a patch of ice and lost control. The vehicle slid sideways into the median, rolled across the median and came to rest on its driver's side in the eastbound passing lane.

Lewandoski sustained minor injuries and was transported by Medina Ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center. He wore his seat belt.

Damage was estimated at $5,000 for the Ford.
