Troske pleads guilty to murdering Pingree man, shooting New Rockford woman

Immanuel features palm procession

A procession with palms will begin the Palm/Passion Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1403 9th Ave SE. Holy Communion led by the Rev. Nels Lillejord and the Rev. Lucinda Lien will be celebrated and the Immanuel choir will sing an anthem.

This service is a remembrance of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with the crowds waving palm branches and singing. Participants are encouraged to take their palm branches home and display them in a prominent place as a reminder during the upcoming year of this special day in Jesus’ life.

Holy Week observances will continue with Maundy Thursday services at 6:45 p.m. April 17, including Holy Communion.

Immanuel Lutheran Church is located next to Gardenette Housing in southeast Jamestown and the building is accessible with no steps for people with disabilities. The congregation of Immanuel welcomes the public to join them in worship.
