It takes a lot of coordination, effort to put on KiteFest
I am from Shawano, Wisconsin, (near Green Bay) and have been looking forward to coming to Jamestown to fly kites all spring. I was not disappointed. We had good winds, great fellowship, gracious hosts and overall a good time.
I would like to express my gratitude toward the festival sponsors, the Jamestown Parks and Recreation and the hotel, Quality Inn & Suites in Jamestown. I know it takes a lot of effort and coordination to put on a successful festival.
Wings on Strings club in Jamestown is one of the best and for 20 years has been attracting some of the best kite fliers in the Midwest who enjoy putting on a show for the folks in the Jamestown area.
Thank you to all who volunteered and sponsored this amazing event through the years.
