Nov. 20: 11:36 a.m, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, North Dakota State Hospital-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 25 minutes.

Nov. 20: 4:11 p.m., fire department responded to 301 7th Ave. NE, garage, to a report of a fire in the rain gutter. Upon arrival of fire units there was no fire. Cause: smoke from wood-burning stove. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 15 minutes.

Nov. 20: 7:45 p.m., fire department hazmat team responded to 2315 Hwy 281 South, Super Pumper, to a report of a fuel spill. Firefighters contained a small spill of diesel fuel. Cause: overfill by the fuel pumps from customer. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 35 minutes.

Nov. 21: 10:12 a.m., ready squad responded to 319 5th St NE, Lincoln Grade School, to investigate an odor smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: unknown source. Time out: 15 minutes.

Nov. 22: 9:05 a.m., ready squad responded to 2425 Circle Drive, NDSH-employees building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was detected. Cause: burnt popcorn. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 30 minutes.

Nov. 22: 5:45 p.m., ready squad responded to 921 25th St. SW, Walmart, to investigate a hanging furnace that exploded. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was detected. Firefighters advised occupant to call MDU and monitor the area until they arrived. Cause: unknown. Time out: 55 minutes.

Nov. 22: 11:28 p.m., ready squad responded to 803 20th St. SW, Holiday Inn Express, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was detected. Cause: system malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 50 minutes.

Nov. 23: 6:30 a.m., fire department responded to 1504 Gardenette Drive No. 4, to a report of a vehicle on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause: undetermined. No firefighter injuries. Time out: one hour, 10 minutes.

Nov. 23: 7:15 a.m., city fire department responded with five firefighters two miles south of the Eldridge exit at the request of the Jamestown Rural Fire Department for mutual aid to help extinguish a structure fire. No city firefighter injuries. Time out: 5 hours 10 minutes.

Nov. 25: 3:25 p.m., ready squad responded to 614 5th St. NW, single family dwelling, to analyze for carbon monoxide. Firefighters tested for carbon monoxide, 0 ppm was detected. Cause: unknown. Time out: 35 minutes.

Nov. 25: 4:08 p.m., ready squad responded to 733 11th St. NE, multi-family dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was found. Cause: intentional alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 20 minutes.
