Jays take third straight

The Jamestown High School girls hockey team is determined to finish on a strong note.

After posting just one win over its first 17 games, the Blue Jays have won three in a row. The latest was an 8-2 thrashing in Devils Lake on Tuesday.

“We’re playing pretty good hockey,” Jamestown coach Justin Connell said. “In the offensive zone, we did a lot of things right. We got a lot of pucks on the net.”
