Twenty-seven Jewels of the Prairie met at the Elks Club in May. Charlie Kourajian and Steve Grenz gave a slide presentation of the towns in Stutsman County. They also ended with a short slide program on the construction of the gazebo located on the grounds of the Stutsman County Museum. The Jewels put a pin on a map where they were born. Six were born outside of North Dakota. The rest were from the counties in the southeast quadrant of North Dakota.

Leah Mitchell was welcomed as a guest. Lunch was catered by TJ’s catering.
