JFD responds to smoker fire at Buffalo City Rotisserie Grill
The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the Buffalo City Rotisserie Grill in downtown Jamestown at 10:01 a.m. Tuesday.
JFD Company No. 2 Lt. Sheldon Mohr said the cause of the fire was not determined but it was confined to the smoker in the back of the business and did very little to no damage to the restaurant. Twenty-seven firefighters and five engines responded to the call. Despite cold winds and snowy conditions, Mohr said the department did not encounter any trouble extinguishing the fire.
“It’s North Dakota, we’re kind of used to it,” he said.
Representatives from the Buffalo City Rotisserie Grill declined to comment.
