Media, officials: New Jersey train crash kills three, injures more than 100

Jimmie XC athletes earn scholar award

Three University of Jamestown Jimmie cross country runners earned the Daktronics/NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award for the fall 2013 season.

Miranda Charley and Ashley Mueller were honored from the women’s team, while Scott Roemmich was honored for the men’s team.

Reommich, a fifth-year senior from Linton, earned the award for the fifth time. He was previously honored in the fall of 2011 for football, the spring of 2012 in track and field, the fall of 2012 in cross country and in the spring of 2013 in track and field.

Charley, a senior from North Branch, Minn., earned the award for the third time, previously winning in the fall of 2012 for cross country and the spring of 2013 in track and field.

Mueller, a junior from Jamestown, earned the honor for the first time.
