JRMC Auxiliary meets new CEO

President Cindy Grimm presided at the monthly Jamestown Regional Medical Center Auxiliary meeting held May 5 at JRMC.

KC DeBoer, the new CEO of the hospital, was welcomed and informed the audience of his past experiences in Kansas and South Dakota.

Foundation Director Lisa Jackson spoke briefly on mission-based funds. She explained that the mission of JRMC is to improve equipment technology, patient care and educational funds. The progress of the MRI unit, advanced wound care and oncology services were also updated.

Ernie Hubacher, the auxiliary’s senior member at 98 years of age, spoke on some of his experiences as a volunteer.

The annual plant sale will be held starting at 7:30 a.m. May 22 at JRMC in the hallway by the elevator until all plants are gone.

Eight members will attend the Hospital Auxiliary of North Dakota conference in Mandan on May 20. JRMC Auxiliary’s Carolyn Exner will be installed at vice president of the organization.
