Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright open to much more ‘House of Cards’
The actors said at a press junket Tuesday that they’re potentially interested in staying with the celebrated Netflixdrama, written by Beau Willimon, for several seasons to come. Wright broke the news that the show will begin shooting its third season soon. Season 2 premieres Feb. 14.
How many season would he like the show to go? “Thirty-seven,” he joked, before adding that he wants to the show to go out “when we’re at our high.”

Some have speculated that the series might be a short-term project for the stars before they return to movies. Whether the season would continue past two seasons was an open question until Wright broke the news. It was soon confirmed by Netflix.
Wright was asked about where she sees the characters on the show going. She said it could take several seasons to find out.
“We’re only on the second season so far. When you think about all the other shows that have gone on five, six, eight seasons, we’re amateurs in a sense. We’re Bambis in the woods,” she joked.
Would she like to see her show go for five, six, eight seasons?
“Sure, bring it on,” she said.
